HCAC 2025-26 Women's Indoor Track & Field Notebook, Week 3

CARMEL, Ind. – The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Women’s Indoor Track & Field teams competed in week three of the 2025-26 season.

Athletes of the Week: 
Women’s Throws Athlete of the Week:
Charlotte Wilson (Kalamazoo, Mich.) Manchester University | Throws | Senior - Charlotte Wilson threw 11.23m in the shot put and 12.33m in the weight throw. Her shot put mark hit the conference standard, ranking second in the HCAC. She also ranks eighth in the weight throw.

Women’s Jumps Athlete of the Week:
Isa Slone (Oakwood, Ohio) Earlham College | Jumps | Sophomore - Isa Slone jumped a season-best 5.28m in the long jump, breaking her own school record for the third consecutive meet. She was the top Division III finisher at the meet and doubled down placing in the top-5 in the high jump as well.

Women's Sprints/Hurdles Athlete of the Week:
Olivia Sparks (Lexington, Ky.) Transylvania University | Sprints | Junior - Olivia Sparks broke two HCAC records over the weekend at the Bellarmine Classic, competing in the 400m and 200m. Her marks of 57.72 for 400m and 25.54 for 200m are No. 20 and No. 41 in the NCAA Division III, respectively. She also anchored the TU 4x400m that ran the ninth fastest mark in HCAC history and second fastest mark in Transy history.

Women's Distance Athlete of the Week:
Amanda Zerhusen (Cincinnati, Ohio) Mount St. Joseph University | Distance | Junior - Amanda Zerhusen broke the Mount St. Joseph indoor records for both the 3000m and 5000m races at the Mo Joe Invitational. Her 5K time is currently best in the conference (18:09) and her 3K ranks third in the HCAC (10:48).

Notable Performances:
Throws
  • Lai'Lonie Waller-Thomas (Fort Wayne, Ind.) Anderson University | Throws | Freshman - Lai'Lonie Waller-Thomas had a 1.73m improvement in shot put to bump her personal-best to 10.83m, tying her for sixth in the conference.  She also had a 2.78m improvement on her weight throw, putting her fourth in the conference at 13.83m.
  • Sophie Rawlings (Orlando, Fla.) Mount St. Joseph University | Throws | Freshman - Sophie Rawlings finished third on Saturday in the shot put with a mark of 11.18m, which currently ranks third in the HCAC and second all-time in school history.
  • Carolina Snyder-Perez (Houston, Texas) Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology | Throws | Senior - Carolina Snyder-Perez was the top thrower for Rose-Hulman in the Friday Night Spikes #2 meet. She placed third in the weight throw with a mark of 12.68m. Snyder-Perez also finished fourth in the shot put with a mark of 10.15m.
Jumps
  • Grace Tincher (Palmyra, Ind.) Franklin College | Jumps | Freshman - Grace Tincher leaped 1.58m in the high jump to finish as the runner-up and top HCAC finisher at the Friday Night Spikes #2 meet. That mark ties her for third in Franklin indoor history and puts her at No. 1 currently in the HCAC. 
  • Alivia Paul (Twelve Mile, Ind.) Manchester University | Jumps | Junior - Alivia Paul, jumped 1.38m in high jump and 4.44m in long jump, hitting both HCAC standards.
  • Aunaleisa Newhart (Camden,Ohio) Mount St. Joseph University | Jumps | Freshman - Aunaleisa Newhart had a personal-best in the high jump with a 4.45m effort. She finished fourth at this weekend's competition.
  • Audrey Edwards (Tucson, Ariz.) Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology | Jumps | Sophomore - Audrey Edwards was the top jumper for Rose-Hulman in its second-place team finish at the Friday Night Spikes #2 meet. Edwards placed second in the triple jump with a mark of 9.53m. Her mark ranks third in the conference this season.
Sprints/Hurdles
  • Coco Truelove (Albion, Ind.) Manchester University | Sprints | Sophomore - Coco Truelove ran 8.21 in the 60m and 9.91 in the 60m hurdles. Those times are fourth and second in the HCAC, respectively.
  • Olivia Forte (Harrison, Ohio) Mount St. Joseph University | Sprints | Junior - Olivia Forte finished fifth and fourth place in the 60m and 200m dashes, respectively. Her 8.40 60m time is a personal-best for her and good for fifth all-time in program history.
  • Alex Adams (Independence, Ohio) Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology | Sprints | Senior - Alex Adams helped Rose-Hulman finish second as a team in the Friday Night Spikes #2 meet. Adams had an event win in the 200m dash with a time of 26.99. She also placed second in the 60m dash with a time of 7.96. Her time in the 200 ranks third and her 60 time ranks second in the HCAC this season.
Distance
  • Hattie Harlow (Russiaville, Ind.) Anderson University | Distance | Freshman - Hattie Harlow ran her first college 3000m race, waiting to separate herself and win the heat in commanding fashion. Her time of 12:12.78 ranks her 16th in the conference.
  • Cleo Saltz (Bedford Hills, N.Y.) Earlham College | Distance | Freshman - Cleo Saltz ran a 11:08 in the 3000m to open up her season placing her fourth in the conference and was the top Division III finisher in the event.
  • Addison Sterk (Remington, Ind.) Manchester University | Distance | Freshman - Addison Sterk finished second in the 5000m at the Taylor U meet over the weekend.  Her time of 20:11.72 was a 2 minute and 30 second personal-best.
  • Jocelyn Onstot (Cary, Ill.) Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology | Distance | Junior - Jocelyn Onstot had an incredible finish in the mile run with a first-place finish in a time of 5:02.82. Her time is the fastest in the conference this season and ranks second in the Rose-Hulman school record book. 
  • Libby Perkins (Louisville, Ky.) Transylvania University | Distance | Senior - Libby Perkins opened up her indoor campaign at the Bellarmine Classic, running a personal-best in the mile at 5:40.81. That mark is  approximately 14 seconds faster than her previous personal best of 5:54.53 from 2024.
