Women’s Throws Athlete of the Week:
Cheyeann Leslie (North Vernon, Ind.) Hanover College | Throws | Sophomore - Leslie dominated the shot put as part of the Fightin' Engineers Invitational, winning the event with a toss of 11.16m. The distance ranks seventh in school history. She also garnered third in the weight throw with a distance of 11.92m.
Women’s Jumps Athlete of the Week:
Isa Slone (Oakwood, Ohio) Earlham College | Jumps | Senior - Isa broke the school record that has stood since 2020 in the long jump with a 5.20 jump, which she achieved multiple times over the weekend. She also won both the high jump & long jump day 1 with an EC #4 all time indoor high jump.
Women's Sprints/Hurdles Athlete of the Week:
Rose Talbert (Monticello, Ill.) Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology | Sprints | Junior - Rose Talbert picked up two event wins in Rose-Hulman's season opener. Talbert recorded wins in the 400m dash (1:00.41) and in the 200m dash (26.29). Both times are the fastest in the conference in those events so far this season.
Women's Distance Athlete of the Week:
Juliana Carragher (Langhorne, Pa.) Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology | Distance | Sophomore - Juliana Carragher led the distance team for Rose-Hulman this past weekend in its home opener. She earned a first-place finish in the 3000m run with a time of 12:10.71. This is the fastest time in the event across the HCAC so far this season.

- Carolina Snyder-Perez (Houston, Texas) Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology | Throws | Senior - Carolina Snyder-Perez was a standout for Rose-Hulman in the throws, as the Fightin’ Engineers claimed second place at the Fightin' Engineers Invitational. Snyder-Perez placed second in the weight throw with a mark of 11.92m. She also earned a third-place finish in the shot put with a mark of 9.99m. Her weight throw mark ranks third in the conference and her result in the shot put ranks third in the HCAC.

- Irene Lema Madueno (Arcadia, Calif.) Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology | Jumps | Junior - Irene Lema Madueno earned a first-place finish for Rose-Hulman in the pole vault at the Fightin' Engineers Invitational this past weekend. Madueno cleared a height of 3.20 meters (10' 6"). This is the top mark in the HCAC so far this season.
