TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The 2025 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Championships continued on Friday at the Vigo County Aquatic Center in Terre Haute, Ind.
COMPLETE RESULTS
With three days of competition in the books, Franklin College continues to lead the charge on the women's side with 443 points. For the men, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology remains in the first place slot, edging out the competition with 647 points.
Saturday's events began at 10 a.m. with preliminaries held in the morning session. In the finals on Saturday evening, winners were awarded in the men's and women's 200 medley relay, 400 IM, 100 butterfly, 200 freestyle, 100 breaststroke, 100 backstroke, and the women's one-meter diving.
Kicking things off, the Rose-Hulman women's 200 Yard Medley Relay team picked up a win, with the team of
Ritu Bharamaddi, Cate Stauffer, Catherine Bath, and
Avery Witt, swimming a time of 1:50.88. In the 400 Yard Individual Medley, Rose-Hulman's
Cate Stauffer finished on top with a time of 4:33.91 for the win.
Familiar faces found themselves back on top of the podium for Franklin. In the 100 Yard Butterfly,
Celeste Hollis won the event with a time of 57.39. Also working back to the top, with a swim of 1:55.08 in the 200 Yard Freestyle,
Petal Sloan earned another gold on the night. Fellow Grizzly,
Avery Tomlinson swam to the gold medal in the 100 Yard Breaststroke in a time of 1:07.76. Franklin's
Kat Lundy won the 100 Yard Backstroke with a time of 56.97 - a new HCAC Meet Record!
In the women's 1-meter diving competition, Franklin's
Kamryn Elder brought home the gold with a score of 407.25.
On the men's side, the Rose-Hulman Fightin' Engineers 200 Yard Medley Relay squad of
Caleb Munger, Eric Sinclair, Vineet Ranade, and
Nick Edwards swam to gold with a time of 1:32.69 for the win. In the men's 400 Yard Individual Medley Rose-Hulman's
Trevor Wiley turned in a time of 3:58.44 - a new HCAC Meet Record!
In the 100 Yard Butterfly, Transylvania's
Kole Brannock won the event, with a swim of 50.12.
Vineet Ranade picked up another win for the Fightin' Engineers, claiming the 200 Yard Freestyle title with a time of 1:37.95 - a new HCAC Meet Record!
In the 100 Yard Breaststroke
Eric Sinclair from Rose-Hulman took the top spot, touching in 55.37. In the 100 Yard Backstroke,
Kole Brannock from Tranyslvania, claimed the title in the event, with a time of 51.05.
