2025 HCAC Swimming & Diving Championships Recap - Day 4

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The 2025 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Championships wrapped up on Saturday, with Franklin College claiming the women’s title and Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology winning the men’s championship crown.
 
COMPLETE RESULTS

Rose-Hulman captured the men's title with a score of 957, beating out Franklin College, who earned 569 points. Transylvania University finished third with 456.5, Manchester University placed fourth with 374.5 while Anderson University was fifth with 206 points.  Hanover College placed sixth with 107 points and Bluffton University rounded out the scoring in seventh place with 67 points.
 
On the women's side, Franklin took the title in a close race with a score of 656 points. Transylvania finished second with 615 points, while Rose-Hulman took third with 567. Anderson finished in fourth with 443. Manchester (198), Hanover (171), and Bluffton (135) rounded out the scoring, finishing in fifth, sixth, and seventh respectively.
 
In the first event of the evening, Catherine Bath came up big in the 1650 Yard Freestyle, with a swim of 17:59.20 to win the event for Rose-Hulman. Grizzly Kat Lundy won the 200 Yard Backstroke, touching in a time of 2:06.03. Celeste Hollis won the 100 Yard Freestyle, with a swim of 52.54 for Franklin.
 
Cate Stauffer swam to a win in the 200 Yard Breaststroke for Rose-Hulman, with her time of 2:24.03 besting the competition. Kat Lundy found her way back to the podium with a win in the 200 Yard Butterfly, touching in a time of 2:16.32.
 
In the final event for the women, Transylvania claimed the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay behind swims from Mary Grace Thompson, Elliott Havens, Emerson Campbell, and Charlotte Green with a time of 3:35.71. 

For the men, the first event of the night went to Anderson’s Reid Haney, swimming a time of 16:19.31 in the 1650 Yard Freestyle. In the 200 Yard Backstroke Roe-Hulman's Caleb Munger won the event with a time of 1:52.86. Franklin’s Zachary Jackson-Blaine won the 100 Yard Freestyle, touching in a time of 46.50.
 
Vineet Ranade turned in a time of 1:59.50 in the 200 Yard Breaststroke to claim the event for Rose-Hulman. In the 200 Yard Butterfly, Transylvania's Kole Brannock won the title in the event, with his swim of 1:51.35.
 
In the final event of the night for the men, the 400 Yard Freestyle relay team of Vineet Ranade, Tommaso Calviello, Aidan Carter and Blaise Swartwood securing the victory for Rose-Hulman with a time of 3:04.62.

On the 3-meter diving boards, Parker Siddons, from Rose-Hulman, claimed the title, with a score of 352.90.

The 2025 marquee award winners were honored at the close of the meet. Three women's athletes (Kat Lundy, Cate Stauffer, and Celeste Hollis) were all tied in individual points as they each won every individual event they competed in, Kat Lundy was named the 2025 HCAC Women's Swimmer of the Meet as she broke an HCAC Championship meet record in the 100 meter Backstroke. Rose-Hulman's Vineet Ranade earning the title of 2025 HCAC Men's Swimmer of the Meet. 

Franklin's Kamryn Elder was named the 2025 HCAC Female Diver of the Year and Rose-Hulman's Parker Siddons, was named the 2025 HCAC Male Divers of the Year. 

From Rose-Hulman, Avery Witt took the honor of 2025 HCAC Women's Newcomer of the Year. Representing Rose-Hulman, Trevor Wiley was named the 2025 HCAC Men's Newcomer of the Year.

Finally, the coaches of the year were honored. Zack Rayce from Franklin was named the Women’s 2025 HCAC Coach of the Year. Roger Karns was named the Men's 2025 HCAC Coach of the Year.

All-Conference Honors:

Each swimmer, diver, and relay team that finished their respective events in First Place is named to the First Team HCAC All-Conference; Second Place finishers are named to the Second Team HCAC All-Conference; and Third Place finishers are named to the Honorable Mention HCAC All-Conference Teams.
