HCAC 2026 Women's Outdoor Track & Field Notebook, Week 7

CARMEL, Ind. – The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Women’s Outdoor Track & Field teams competed in week seven of the 2026 season.

Athletes of the Week: 
Women’s Throws Athlete of the Week:
Abbigal Kohler (Warsaw, Ind.) Manchester University | Throws | Sophomore - Abbigal Kohler threw 44.55m at the Midwest Twilight Final Qualifier finishing 14th overall.

Women’s Jumps Athlete of the Week:
Grace Tincher (Palmyra, Ind.) Franklin College | Jumps | Freshman - Grace Tincher jumped 5.53m in a competitive long jump field at the Augustana Midwest Twilight Final Qualifier.

Women's Sprints/Hurdles Athlete of the Week:
Rose Talbert (Monticello, Ill.) Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology | Sprints | Junior - Rose Talbert led the Rose-Hulman women's team at the Augustana Midwest Twilight Qualifier with a fifth-place finish in the 400m dash with a time of 56.18. Talbert was not able to beat her best time this season, but still qualified for the NCAA Division III National Championships, ranking 18th in the event.

Women's Distance Athlete of the Week:
Ava Egolf (North Manchester, Ind.) Manchester University | Distance | Sophomore - Ava Egolf broke the Manchester school record in the steeplechase. Her time of 10:57.25 was a 10-second PR. It is also the second in the HCAC all time and is currently fifth in the Great Lakes Region and 35th in the nation.

  • Megan Korte (St. Louis, Mo.) Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology | Throws | Senior - Megan Korte was the top thrower for Rose-Hulman in the Augustana Midwest Twilight Qualifier with a 10th-place finish in the javelin, earning a mark of 29.03m.
