2026 HCAC Women’s Tennis Championship Preview

CARMEL, Ind. The 2026 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Women’s Tennis Championship is set to take place between Tuesday, April 28 and Sunday, May 3.

Transylvania won the HCAC Regular Season title securing a perfect 7-0 HCAC record (11-4 overall) and will be the No. 1 seed in the upcoming championship.

As the No. 1 seed Transylvania also earned a bye directly into the tournament semifinals. Joining the Pioneers in the semifinal round is No. 2 seed Rose-Hulman, which went 6-1 HCAC (11-8 overall). They will await the winners of the first round games which take place on Tuesday, April 28.

One quarterfinal matchup has No. 3 seed Hanover (4-3 HCAC, 6-9 overall) hosting No. 6 seed Franklin (3-4 HCAC, 11-13 overall), while the other pits No. 4 seed Earlham (4-3 HCAC, 12-7 overall) against No. 5 seed Anderson (3-4 HCAC, 6-10 overall). Both matches are scheduled to start at 4:30 p.m.

With two ties in the conference standings, the league’s tiebreaking procedure was used to determine seeding. Hanover and Anderson won their head-to-head conference matchups with Earlham and Franklin, respectively, granting them the advantage in the tiebreaker.

The quarterfinal winners will take on the top two seeds in the semifinal round on Saturday, May 2 with the championship match scheduled for Sunday, May 3.
