Athlete of the Week:
Kenna Harbin (Greenwood, Ind.) Franklin College | Freshman - Kenna Harbin had a strong weekend at the ITA Central Regional in Kalamazoo, Mich. She won her first-round singles match against Anais Gerard of North Central, 6-2, 6-2 — the lone HCAC player to win in the first round of the main draw. The freshman also paired with Ailyn Hendricks for an 8-4 victory over Illinois Tech in the opening round of doubles, making Franklin duo the lone conference pair to advance to the second round. Both of her main-draw losses came against seeded opponents.
Notable Performances:
- Paige Mills (Powder Springs, Ga.) Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology | Sophomore - Paige Mills represented Rose-Hulman at the ITA Regionals hosted by Kalamazoo this past weekend. Mills finished with a record of 1-2 overall, earning a win in the consolation draw against her opponent from Illinois Tech in an exciting match with a score of 6-1, 1-6, 10-6.
