CARMEL, Ind. – The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) women’s tennis teams competed in week 1 of the 2025-26 season.

Athlete of the Week:
Emma Tranter (Brownsburg, Ind.) Franklin College | First Year - Tranter went 2-1 at No. 2 singles over the weekend, scoring Franklin's lone point against Trine and winning against Webster before losing in a third set tiebreaker vs Adrian. She was also 2-1 in doubles, beating Webster at No. 1 and Adrian at No. 2 to help the team secure a doubles point in both of those matches.

Notable Performances:

• Paula Torrent (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain) Anderson University | Sophomore - Paula Torrent won her matches at No. 4 singles and No. 2 doubles against Adrian.
