HCAC 2025-26 Women's Tennis Notebook, Week 2

CARMEL, Ind. – The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Women’s Tennis teams competed in week two of the 2025-26 season.

Athlete of the Week:
Emma Tranter (Brownsburg, Ind.) Franklin College | First Year - Tranter won both of her matches at No. 2 singles on Saturday, earning a 6-0, 6-1 win at Wittenberg and pulling out a 6-2, 3-6, 10-6 victory against Capital. She also teamed with Ailyn Hendricks for a 6-4 win at first doubles against Wittenberg.

Notable Performances:
  • Nova Gladden (Chicago, Ill.) Rose-Hulman Institute of technology | Sophomore - Nova Gladden was the standout for Rose-Hulman at the DePauw Invitational this past weekend. Gladden wrapped up the weekend with a 4-2 record, finishing in fifth place in the No. 3 doubles draw and third in No. 6 singles.
