LEXINGTON, KY – Transylvania's women's tennis coach,
Bill Carey, has been named Head Coach of both the Transylvania University Men's and Women's Tennis programs.
"We are fortunate to have someone of Bill's caliber and character in our department; he truly makes everyone around him better," said
Jeff Chaney, Vice President of Athletics. "I am eager to see his leadership as he guides both of our tennis programs into the future."
Carey led the Women's Tennis program to their sixth consecutive Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Championship last season, earning HCAC Coach of the Year honors in the process.
Transylvania Men's Tennis finished the 2024-25 campaign with a 7-10 record, including a 4-1 mark within the HCAC.
