Athlete of the Week:
Ezekiel Bergen (Poland, Ind.) Anderson University | First Year - Ezekiel Bergen advanced to the ITA Regional Consolation Singles Semifinals. He went 2-3 on the week. Bergen fell at No. 1 singles against Trine. He then went 2-2 during the ITA Regional.
Notable Performances:
- Jake Fascione (Poole, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland) Hanover College | Sophomore - Fascione led the Panthers at the ITA Central Regional, teaming up with Sebastian Vogel to claim a doubles match against Wheaton 8-6. He also had a strong showing in singles play, taking his opponent from Anderson to a tie breaker set before falling to an opponent from Allegheny.
- Ervin Perkowski (Lincolnshire, Ill.) Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology | Junior - Ervin Perkowski led the Fightin' Engineers at the ITA Regionals in Kalamazoo, Michigan, over the weekend. In singles, Perkowski finished with a record of 1-1, winning his first match of the main draw with a close score of 7-6 (7-5), 3-6, and 10-8. Perkowski partnered up with his teammate, Chris Lian, in doubles. The duo suffered two losses with scores of 8-3 and 8-7 (7-4).
