CARMEL, Ind. – The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Women's Outdoor Track and Field teams competed in week two of the 2025 season.

Women's Throws Athlete of the Week:
Carley Camp (Logansport, Ind.) Manchester University | Throws | Senior - Carley extended her HCAC and GLR lead in the Hammer with a Season best of 51.94m which currently ranks 6th in Division 3. She also paired that with a runner-up placement in Shot with a 13.49m which currently sits her 6th in Division 3.
Women's Sprints/Hurdles Athlete of the Week:
Rose Talbert (Monticello, Ill.) Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology | Sprints | Sophomore - Rose Talbert had two record-breaking performances in Saturday's Pacesetter Invite hosted by Indiana State. She broke the school record in the 400-meter dash with a time of 56.18 after placing second in the race. She broke another school record in the 200-meter dash with an eighth-place finish and a time of 24.86.
Women's Jumps Athlete of the Week:
Ashyia Maddickes (Dayton, Ohio) Berea College | Jumps | Sophomore - Ashyia had a weekend for the history books. Ashyia jumped a four life time PR's on Saturday. On her fifth jump of the day, she broke the Berea College school record jumping 11.25m. That record had stood since 1985. She followed that up on her sixth jump by jumping 11.61m. Her mark is #2 in HCAC history and currently #15 in the D3.
Women's Distance Athlete of the Week:
Kaycee Moore (Morehead, Ky.) Trasylvania University | Distance | Junior - Kaycee got the win at the Hanover Invite, running a 2 second PB of 4:58.53. Her performance also took down a 13 year old school record and makes her the first Transy woman under 5:00 for 1500m in school history.

Throws Athletes:
- Timeria Jackson (Hot Springs, Ariz.) Berea College | Throws | First Year - In her first track & field meet ever, Timeria threw PR's in the shot put and the hammer throw. Throwing 7.85m in the shot put and 20.33m in the hammer throw.
- Jessie Stenger (Brookville, Ind) Hanover College | Throws | Senior - Jessie Stenger claimed the top spot in the discus throw with a distance of 43.25 meters. She also took first in the shot put with a distance of 9.33 meters as part of the Hanover Invite.
- Sienna Slaughter (Mount Washington, Ky.) Mount St. Joseph University | Throws | Junior - Even though she was a few feet shy of her season best and school record effort from last weekend, Sienna edged out her teammate for the victory in the hammer throw event this weekend at Berea. In a close competition, all five of her legal attempts were over 40 meters long. Sienna is currently ranked 3rd in the HCAC.
Jumps Athletes:
- Audrey Edwards (Tucson, Ariz.) Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology | Jumps | Sophomore - Audrey Edwards led Rose-Hulman in the jumps at the Indiana State Pacesetter Invite over the weekend. Edwards finished 13th after clearing a height of 4' 10.25" (1.48 meters).
- Taylor Roark (Bebron, Ky.) Transylvania University | Jumps | Senior - Taylor won the HJ at the Hanover Invite, clearing 1.55m and tying her SB.
Sprints/Hurdles Athletes:
- Katie Ripberger (Rushville, Ind) Anderson University | Hurdles | First Year - Katie ran a .90 second PR in the 100H and a 3.16 second PR in the 400H.
- Peyton Potts (Alcoa, Tenn.) Berea College | Sprints | Sophomore - Peyton Potts ran a life-time PR by over second in the 400m at the Landon Bond Classic. Her time of 1:03.70 ranks her 6th in the 400m in the HCAC.
- Olivia Forte (Harrison, Ohio) Mount St. Joseph University | Sprints | Sophomore - Olivia had career bests in both the 100m & 200m races at the Landon Bond Classic @ Berea College. Finishing in fourth and tenth place respectively. She is now top 10 in MSJ history in both races. She is also top ten in the HCAC (5th and 8th respectively).
Distance Athletes:
- Nika Davenport Berea College | Distance | First Year - Nika ran a lifetime best of 2:33.90 in the 800m at the Landon Bond Classic to take 10th overall.
- Chesnee Miller (Akron, Ind.) Manchester University | Distance | First Year - Chesnee ran a lifetime PR in the 5k of 18:44.98 at the WashU Distance Carnival. The freshman’s time is currently 2nd in the HCAC and 27th in the GLR.
- Amanda Zerhusen (Cincinnti, Ohio) Mount St. Joseph Unversity | Distance | Sophomore - Finished in fourth place over the weekend in the 5K. Her first attempt running it outdoors has her ranked 5th in school history.
- Jocelyn Onstot (Cary, Ill.) Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology | Distance | Sophomore - Jocelyn Onstot was the standout for the Fightin' Engineers, finishing third in the 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 11:30.66. Her time ranks second in the Rose-Hulman school record books.
