TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – For the sixth straight year, Rose-Hulman men’s swimming and diving raised the trophy following the conclusion of the 2026 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Swimming and Diving Championships on Saturday at the Vigo County Aquatic Center in Terre Haute, Ind.
The Fightin’ Engineers collected 857 points en route to the title.
Trailing RHIT was Franklin, which scored 624 to finish as the HCAC runner-up for the sixth year running. Transylvania placed third with 519 points followed by Manchester with 384. Wrapping up the 2026 standings were Anderson and Hanover with 267 and 98 points, respectively.
Contributing to the championship performance were three event titles. First, Eric Sinclair won the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:03.04, followed by his teammate
Trevor Wiley winning gold in the 200 butterfly at 1:52.16. Finally, the team of
Levi Galaviz,
Tommaso Calviello,
Aidan Carter, and
Walter Kotlin closed out the meet with a 3:07.75 500 freestyle relay to take first place.
The three other event winners on Saturday evening were Anderson’s Reid Haney who took gold in the 1650 freestyle with a time of 16:24.24, Transylvania’s
Kole Brannock who won the 200 backstroke with finals time of 1:51.56, and Franklin’s
Zachary Jackson-Blaine who three-peated in the 100 freestyle with a time of 46.10.

At the conclusion of the Championship meet, major award winners were honored. Rose-Hulman’s Wiley and Transylvania’s Brannock shared the Swimmer of the Meet award, while Wiley’s teammate Parker Siddons took Diver of the Meet honors. Franklin’s
Keaton Stephenson was named Newcomer of the Meet.
Fightin’ Engineers head coach Keith Crawford took home the Coach of the Meet honor.

Each swimmer, diver, and relay team that finished their respective events in first place were named to the First Team HCAC All-Conference; second place finishers are named to the Second Team HCAC All-Conference; and third place finishers are named to the Honorable Mention HCAC All-Conference Teams.
