Athlete of the Week:
Vanessa Akuaku (Accra, Ghana) Earlham College | Sophomore - Vanessa Akuaku led the Quakers in a 6-1 win over Albion on Sunday, taking wins at No.1 singles and No.1 doubles. Akuaku scored a 6-1, 6-1 win in singles, and paired with Lawrencia Manu for a 6-2 doubles win.
Notable Performances:
- Kate Oberle (Mooresville, Ind.) Anderson University | Junior - In Anderson's only match of the week, Kate Oberle won both of her matches in a 4-3 victory against Taylor. Oberle earned wins at No. 6 singles and No. 3 doubles.
- Eleanor Stillabower (Franklin, Ind.) Franklin College | First Year - Stillabower was perfect at second doubles, partnering with Emma Sappenfield for a point-securing 7-6 victory against IU East and adding a 6-1 win against Olivet. She was also dominant in her lone singles match, rolling to a 6-0, 6-0 win against Olivet.
- Nova Gladden (Chicago, Ill.) Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology | Sophomore - Nova Gladden went 2-0 in the team's narrow loss to Greenville on Homecoming weekend with a score of 4-3. Gladden picked up a win at No. 3 doubles, 6-4, and earned a win at No. 6 singles, 6-2, 6-3.
