CARMEL, Ind. – The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) women’s tennis teams competed in week seven of the 2021-22 season.

Athlete of the Week:
Jessica Burton (Catlettsburg, Ky.) Transylvania University | Senior – Burton went 4-0 at No. 1 doubles and No. 2 singles. She only dropped six games in total four matches as Transy defeated Ohio Northern University and Otterbein University.
 
Notable Performances:

• Megan Long (New Palestine, Ind.) Anderson University | Sophomore - Anderson captured a 9-0 victory against Alma on Saturday. Megan Long/Madelyn Brown secured an 8-1 victory at No. 2 doubles against Emily McDonald/Amanda Szymborski. Long then locked up a 7-5, 6-4 victory at No. 1 singles against Kayla Weller.
