Offensive Athlete of the Week:
Jackson Seida (Frankfort, Ill.) Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology | Forward | Junior – Seida scored both goals as Rose-Hulman rallied from a 1-0 deficit to win 2-1 at Bluffton on Sunday. Rose-Hulman finished 2-0 for the week with a win over Manchester on Wednesday.
Defensive Athlete of the Week:
Luciano Salemi (Indianapolis, Ind.) Hanover College | Goalkeeper | Junior - Salemi led the Panthers to a 2-0 week as he picked up wins in frame over Franklin and Anderson. The junior charted six saves and allowed only one goal.
Notable Performances:
- Jackson Clark (Mount Blanchard, Ohio) Bluffton University | Forward | Sophomore - Clark hit paydirt just over seven minutes into the match, giving the home team an early 1-0 lead over Rose-Hulman that would hold through the half. It marked the first time in 2022 that Rose-Hulman had trailed in a Heartland Conference match as the Engineers came into Sunday with a 5-0 mark and 20-0 edge in goals scored.
- Jeremy Fuller (Liberty Township, Ohio) Defiance College | Midfielder | First-Year – Fuller gave Defiance an early lead at Anderson, giving the team a 1-0 lead 10 minutes into the game. In the game, he had two shot attempts, one on goal, and one goal.
- Andre Moriel (Murfreesboro, Tenn.) Earlham College | Midfield | First-Year - Moriel had a big day on Saturday during Homecoming on campus. The first-year scored two goals for the Quakers in a 4-2 loss to Franklin. He took nine total shots on the week.
- Joao Domenici (Alphaville, Brazil) Hanover College | Forward | Sophomore - Domenici led the Panthers to a 2-0 week as they defeated Anderson and Franklin. He added two goals and seven shots, five of which landed on goal.
- Luke Dawdy (Fishers, Ind.) Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology | Defense | Senior – Dawdy played 160 minutes between Rose-Hulman victories over Manchester (3-0) and Bluffton (2-1). He led an effort that allowed just one goal (0.50 GAA), five shots and two shots on goal combined over the two games.
