CARMEL, Ind. – The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) announced the 2025 Men's Soccer All-Conference and special awards winners on Thursday.
Earning the title of Offensive Player of the Year for the 2025 season is Hanover College striker
Patricio Campos (Mexico City, Mexico). Campos, a senior, helped lead the Panther's to a second seed in the HCAC tournament. He led the league in goals (10), shots on goal (21), game-winning goals (4), and points (24) in league play, while also finding himself in the top-10 of the HCAC leaderboard for assists (4) and average shots per game (3.20) all during conference play.
Transylvania's
Jackson Holt (Elizabethtown, Ky.) was voted as the Defensive Player of the Year among league coaches. The senior lead the league in save percentage (.929), shutouts (6), and goals against average (.325) during conference play, while playing over 1200 minutes total in goal during the season for the Pioneers.
The HCAC Midfield Player of the Year for the second year in a row is Transylvania's
Dylan Barnes (Elizabethtown, Ky.). The senior found himself in the top-10 of the league in shots (24), shots on goal (13), goals (8), game-winning goals (4), and points (17), all in conference play. His performance throughout the season helped lead his Pioneers to an undefeated conference season and the HCAC Regular Season title.
The HCAC also recognizes a Newcomer of the Year, an athlete who made an impact in their first year of athletic action. For the 2025 season, Transylvania's
Stone Work (Honolulu, Hawaii) was selected as the Newcomer of the Year. The first year was the only newcomer named to the HCAC All-Conference First Team in 2025 and played in all 9 HCAC regular season games for the Pioneers. He was named Athlete of the Week for the HCAC twice this season and is on the top-ten list in the HCAC for goals (7), game-winning goals (2), and points (15), all during conference play.
Leading his squad to the 2025 HCAC Regular Season title with an untarnished conference record, Transylvania University front man
Ben Federici was named the 2025 HCAC Men's Soccer Coach of the Year. Federici led the Pioneers to the No. 1 seed in the HCAC tournament, with a 9-0 record in conference play for the first time in program history and only the third time in conference history.
