Rose-Hulman's Camille Clark Named 2025-26 HCAC Female Sport Athlete of the Year

CARMEL, Ind. – The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) recognized Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology student-athlete Camille Clark (Plainfield, Ind.) as the 2025-26 HCAC Athlete of the Year for women's sports on Tuesday, following a vote of league officials.

Clark was a standout performer for the Fightin’ Engineers in both soccer and tennis.

This fall, she helped the Rose-Hulman soccer team earn the program’s fourth HCAC Tournament title, contributing a Tournament MVP performance with the championship-winning tally for a 1-0 result over Hanover in the final. That performance capped off an incredible season that saw the Plainfield-native earn HCAC First Team All-Conference honors, USC First Team All-Region recognition, and the HCAC Defensive Player of the Year designation.

Her academic accolades as a soccer player were also recognized as she was a Second Team USC Scholar All-American selection. She was also a USC Scholar All-Region First Teamer and a member of the CSC Academic All-District Team.

On the tennis court, Clark helped Rose-Hulman earn its third HCAC Tournament title and its first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2016. She was an HCAC All-Conference honorable mention and a CSC Academic All-District honoree in tennis.
The HCAC Athlete of the Year award is in its thirteenth year of existence. The award is voted on by the Sports Information Directors of each member institution.
