CARMEL, Ind. – Transylvania was crowned the 2025-26 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Commissioner's Cup following the conclusion of the 2025-26 academic year, earning 146.83 points in the Cup standings.
This is the fourth Commissioner's Cup win for the Pioneers, last taking the title in 2023-24.
They made a steady climb up the standings this year, ranking third after the fall and second following the winter. The final push to the top was aided by an outright regular-season championship in women's tennis, while also capturing the titles in both men's and women's golf. The Pios were also co-champions in baseball and earned three points for their men's and women's lacrosse titles in the HCLC. The strong spring added to the school's championships in men's soccer, women's volleyball, and men's and women's basketball earlier in the year. In total, Transylvania earned 82.50 points to lead the Women's All-Sports Standings and finished second in the men's race with 64.33 points.
Rose-Hulman finished as this year's Commissioner's Cup runner-up with 141.83 points with Franklin taking third with 110.34. The full standings are listed below.
About the HCAC Commissioner’s Cup:
The 2025-26 academic year is the 21st year for the HCAC Commissioner's Cup. The Commissioner’s Cup annually recognizes the strongest athletic program in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference as determined by a scoring system which rewards a school for success in the regular season in all the league’s 20 primary sports and all affiliate sports.
