As the No. 1 seed RHIT also earned a bye directly into the tournament semifinals. Joining the Engineers in the semifinal round is No. 2 seed Transylvania, which went 5-2 HCAC (7-9 overall). They will await the winners of the first round games which take place on Wednesday, April 29.
One quarterfinal matchup has No. 3 seed Anderson (5-2 HCAC, 8-9 overall) hosting No. 6 seed Franklin (2-5 HCAC, 7-15 overall), while the other pits No. 4 seed Earlham (4-2 HCAC, 12-7 overall) against No. 5 seed Hanover (3-4 HCAC, 7-9 overall). Both matches are scheduled to start at 4:30 p.m.
