2026 HCLC Men’s Lacrosse Championship Preview

CARMEL, Ind. The 2026 Heartland Collegiate Lacrosse Conference (HCLC) Men’s Lacrosse Championship is set to be held Saturday-Sunday, April 25-26.

Transylvania won the HCLC Regular Season title and will be the No. 1 seed after completing a 10-4 regular season. 

Seeding for the 2026 HCLC Men’s Lacrosse Championship seeding was determined by the NCAA Power Index (NPI) rankings as of April 21.

As the No. 1 seed Transylvania also earned the right to host the championship tournament. The semifinal games will take place at Spalding University with the top-seeded Pios (NPI 71) playing No. 4 seed Spalding (3-11, NPI 209) at 4 p.m. followed by No. 2 seed Hanover (6-7, NPI 168) taking on No. 3 seed Alfred State (5-8, NPI 176) at 7 p.m.

The winners of Saturday’s semifinal round will advance to the championship game at Transylvania with the start time scheduled for 2 p.m.

Semifinals - Saturday, April 25

(At Spalding University - Louisville, Ky.)
No. 1 Transylvania vs. No. 4 Spalding, 4 p.m.
No. 2 Hanover vs. No. 3 Alfred State, 7 p.m.

Final - Saturday, Feb. 28
(Hosted by Transylvania University - Lexington, Ky.)
Semifinal winners, 2 p.m.
