HCAC 2025-26 Men's Tennis Notebook, Week 10

CARMEL, Ind. – The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Men's Tennis teams competed in week 10 of the 2025-26 season.

Athlete of the Week:
Tim Eckermann (Munich, Germany) Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology | Sophomore - Tim Eckermann was exceptional for Rose-Hulman during its Florida trip. Across four matches, Eckermann went 3-1 in singles competition with victories in the No. 3 and No. 2 spots. He also totaled a record of 3-1 as a member of the No. 1 doubles team. The team finished the week with a record of 2-2 with wins over Allegheny and Wartburg.

Notable Performances:
  • Jaden Wells (Jeffersonville, Ind.) Franklin College | Junior - Jaden Wells was a perfect 2-0 in doubles play on the weekend earning a 6-2 win at Brescia and a 6-4 victory at Kentucky Wesleyan in the No. 1 spot. He also persevered through a marathon second singles match at KWU, picking up a 6-4, 4-6, 15-13 triumph.
  • Chris Kaufmann (Louisville, Ky.) Transylvania University | Senior - Chris Kaufmann was 3-3 in quality competition with spring break wins at doubles and singles against Adrian and singles against Piedmont.
