CARMEL, Ind. – The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Men's Tennis teams competed in week seven of the 2025-26 season.

Athlete of the Week:
Ephraim Guthrie (Reston, Va.) Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology | Sophomore - Ephraim Guthrie had a strong performance across Rose-Hulman’s two losses this weekend. Guthrie finished the week at 2-0 in singles competition. Against Roosevelt, he defeated his opponent at No. 5 singles with scores of 5-7, 6-0, 1-0 (10-6). Against Hope, he took down his foe at No. 4 singles in another tiebreaker with scores of 6-3, 4-6, 1-0 (10-3).

Notable Performances:

• Raymond Richard (Cincinnati, Ohio) Franklin College | Junior - Raymond Richard was perfect at No. 5 singles as the Grizzlies split a pair of matches to open their spring season. The junior got the team going in its opener, posting a 7-5, 6-2 victory against Illinois Wesleyan.
• Chris Kaufman (Louisville, Ky.) Transylvania University | Senior - Chris Kaufmann recorded a win at No. 1 singles against Centre, 6-3, 6-4.
