North Manchester, Ind. - Athletic Director Rick Espeset names Jamie Peters the newest member of the Manchester Athletics family as she was named Head Women's Soccer Coach.
"Jamie emerged from a very strong pool of candidates. Her passion for relationship building, motivating student athletes holistically, and growing our women's soccer program were evident throughout the search process." Says Espeset. Jamie joins the program from Purdue Fort Wayne (PFW) where she served as assistant coach since 2021. Prior to PFW Peters was assistant coach at Muskingum University (DIII). As a student athlete at the University of Toledo, Jamie was a member of the 2017 Mid-American Conference Championship team.
Peters graduated in May of 2019 with her Bachelor's of Arts in History from the University of Toledo.
Peters states "I am extremely honored to be the new head women's soccer coach at Manchester University. I would like to thank Athletic Director, Rick Espeset, Josh Dzurick, Sara Emerich and the entire search committee for the opportunity to lead the women's soccer program here. I am excited to get started and continue building a strong environment that will foster growth on and off the field for my student athletes. I would also like to thank Kelley Hartley Hutton, Ashley Malone, Jason Burr and everyone who I crossed paths with at Purdue University Fort Wayne. The time I spent within that program was incredibly rewarding and has provided me with a strong foundation and development that helped get me to where I am.
With that being said, Go Spartans!"
