KOKOMO, Ind. – Earlham College claimed the 2022 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Baseball Championship on Saturday, defeating Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology 10-9 to win their first tournament title since 2017.

In the first game of the day, No. 3 seed Rose-Hulman defeated the No. 1 seed Franklin, 13-8 after a long weather delay to advance to the championship.
In what would be the final game of the tournament, the No. 2 seeded Quakers survived a thrilling contest, securing the 2022 HCAC title to the tune of an 10-9 win over Rose-Hulman.
The HCAC recognizes an All-Tournament Team and an MVP of the Baseball Tournament, which can be found listed below.
The Quakers earn the HCAC automatic qualification bid to the Division III NCAA Tournament. They will find out their draw in the tournament on Monday.
