Transylvania Gets Nod in 2021 HCAC Volleyball Preseason Poll

CARMEL, Ind. – In a vote amongst league coaches, the Transylvania University volleyball team was picked to finish first in the 2021 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) volleyball season.

The Pioneers were slated to finish number one with seven first-place votes, earning 97 points. The vote of confidence comes following a condensed Spring 2021 season, which saw Transylvania finish the regular season with an 8-1 mark and capture the conference tournament title. Mount St. Joseph University finished second in the poll with 85 points and one first-place nod, while Earlham College took two first-place votes and 80 points for third. Hanover College (66) and Bluffton University (57) rounded out the top-five in the poll.
