"We are incredibly excited to welcome Hannah Marshall as our new volleyball coach," Athletic Director Marcie Taylor said. "Along with her quality coaching experience, she brings a deep passion for mentoring student-athletes both on and off the court that aligns perfectly with our institutional mission."

Marshall led the Pacers to a 73-57 overall record and a 42-30 record in the USA South Athletic Conference. The Pacers advanced to the USA South Championship match during the 2022 season. Marshall coached 10 USA South all-conference selections during her tenure.

"I want to start by thanking Marcie Taylor, Scott Cagnet, and Dr. Moats for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to lead the volleyball program at Anderson University," Hannah Marshall said. "From the beginning of this process, I was drawn to Anderson's mission and the opportunity to be part of a community that is committed to faith, relationships, and excellence. I'm incredibly grateful for everything I've learned throughout my coaching journey, and I look forward to bringing those experiences into the Raven volleyball program."

Prior to her arrival at William Peace, Marshall served as the head women's volleyball Coach and assistant men's volleyball coach at Lincoln College for two seasons. She mentored Megan Gilliam, who was selected as the spring 2021 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Libero of the Year and named to the spring 2021 AVCA All-Region honorable mention.

Marshall spent the previous two seasons at Trinity International University as a graduate assistant. The Trojans compiled a 52-31 record during her tenure, while setting a program record in wins with 27 in 2019. Trinity International qualified for the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) National Tournament in both seasons, which includes advancing to the national round of 8 in 2019. Six Trojans received all-CCAC honors while three garnered NCCAA all-region recognition during Marshall's two years.

Marshall competed for Westminster College (Mo.) for four years. She was tabbed as the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) Player of the Year in 2015 and garnered first-team all-SLIAC honors three times. The Blue Jays captured the SLIAC regular-season crown in 2017. In Marshall's four years, the Blue Jays compiled a 75-49 overall record with a 60-12 SLIAC record. Marshall was selected to the SLIAC All-Decade Team in 2020 and inducted into Westminster's Hall of Fame in 2025.

In club volleyball, Marshall held head coach roles for Carolina Advantage Volleyball and the Illinois Juniors Volleyball Club.

A native of Wildwood, Mo., Marshall graduated from Westminster in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Exercise Science. She then earned a Master of Arts in Athletic Training with Trinity International in 2020.

"I have a deep passion for the game of volleyball, and I'm excited to share that passion with our student-athletes each day while helping them grow both on and off the court," Marshall added. "Raven volleyball has a strong tradition and a proud alumni base, and I'm honored to be part of this program as we continue building together. I'm excited to get to work serving our student-athletes and representing AU. Go Ravens!"
