CARMEL, Ind. – The 2025 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Volleyball Championships field is set, with opening rounds slated to start November 12 and the semifinals and championship to be contested on November 15-16.

Following the expansion to an 8-team tournament this season, the HCAC is set for four opening round matches to be played on Wednesday. The top four seeds earned the right to host the quarterfinals, starting with Earlham College claiming the No. 1 seed for their first time since 2021, finishing with a record of 8-1 in league play. The Transylvania University Pioneers conference mark of 8-1, earning them the No. 2 seed. The Lions of Mount St. Joseph grabbed the No. 3 seed after finishing with a 6-3 mark in HCAC play. The Hanover College Panthers earned the No. 4 seed, with a 6-3 record in league action.
Snagging the 5th seed in the postseason is the Manchester Spartans (5-4), followed by the 6th seed the Rose-Hulman Fightin' Engineers (4-5). Claiming the last two spots are the Grizzles of Franklin College (4-5) and Beavers of Bluffton University (2-7), who picked up the No. 7 and No. 8 seeds, respectively.
No. 1 Seed Earlham will host the No. 8 Seed Bluffton on November 12 at 7pm while the No. 4 Seed Hanover hosts the No. 5 Seed Manchester on November 12th, also at 7pm. The winners from each of these matchups will play in the first semifinal match on Saturday, November 15 at 2pm at the highest remaining seed..
In the other half of the bracket, the No. 2 Seed Transylvania will host the No. 7 Seed Franklin while the No. 3 Seed Mount St. Joseph hosts the No. 6 Seed Rose-Hulman, with both games being played on November 12th at 7pm. The winners from each of these matchups will play in the second semifinal match on Saturday, November 15 at 5pm at the highest remaining seed.
The highest remaining seed following the quarterfinal matchups will host both the semifinal and championship rounds on their campus on Nov. 15-16.
The HCAC's Tournament Champion will advance to the 2025 NCAA Division III National Championship Tournament, earning the conference's automatic qualifying bid.
