RICHMOND, KY. - The Translyvania University Pioneers won the 2026 HCLC Men's Golf Championship in dominating fashion, leading from the start of day one of the tournament and never looking back. The Championship was hosted by Berea College at Boone's Trace National Golf Club.

Tournament Scoring
The Pioneers won the championship with an impressive three day, 54-hole team total of +3 (867). Franklin College took home second place with a 3 day total of +46 (910), and Anderson College rounded out the top three teams with a third place finish scoring +58 (922) over the 3 day tournament.
Rose-Hulman's
Ryan Beerheide had an exceptional day three, shooting -7 on Sunday that put him at a total of -8 (208) for the tournament and a four stroke margin for the individual Medalist title. That exceptional performance vaulted the Senior over HCAC newcomer, Transylvania freshman
Andy Steed.
Steed also played fantastic golf all weekend and stayed under par for the tournament, ending at -4 (212). The only other golfer that shot par or better for his three day total was
William Carr from Transylvania.
Carr ended the weekend at even par (216).
Tranyslvania coach Brian Lane was named the 2026 HCAC Men’s Golf Coach of the Year. The HCAC also recognizes the top-5 finishers as the All-Tournament team, with the members listed below.

With the Championship title, Transylvania will now go play in the Division III National Championship tournament as the HCAC Automatic Bid recepient.
