CARMEL, Ind. – The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Men’s Golf teams competed in week three of the 2026-27 season.

Athlete of the Week:
Andy Steed (Wilmington, Ohio) Transylvania University | Sophomore - Andy Steed and No. 16 Transylvania finished ninth overall at the Gate City Invitational. Steed delivered the biggest individual performance of his collegiate career, capturing medalist honors with a 54-hole total of 3-under par at historic Forest Oaks Country Club. The win earned Steed his third tournament title.
Notable Performances:
- Ty Lanham (Venice, Fla.) Anderson University | Freshman - Ty Lanham tied for fifth in the Forest Hills Fall Invitational with a 148 (+8). Lanham fired rounds of 76 (+6) and 72 (+2) on the par-70 layout at Forest Hills Country Club. Lanham was named to the Forest Hills Fall Invitational All-Tournament Team.
- Drake Sommer (Montpelier, Ohio) Bluffton University | Junior - Drake Sommer helped Bluffton to a fourth place finish with a 75 (+3) at the Golden Eagle Invite hosted by Kent State-Tuscarawas on Friday. He tied for fourth in a talented field at Oak Shadows Golf Club.
- Andrew Roach (Union, Ky.) Hanover College | Sophomore - Andrew Roach secured All-Tournament team honors at the Forest Hills Fall Invitational, taking third overall with a 36-hole score of 147 (+7). He had rounds of 75 (+5) and 72 (+2). His opening nine saw shoot four birdies to finish even at the turn. Much like round one, Roach shot even on the front nine during round two, including two birdies.
