LA CROSSE, Wis. – Seven Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) student-athletes were honored as All-Americans based on their results at the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Veterans Memorial Stadium in La Crosse, Wis.
There were five First-Teamers, all competing in the men's competition.
Anderson's Michael Sweigart (Alexandria, Ind.) had the conference's top-finish at the NCAA Championships, placing second in the hammer throw with a 62.79m mark. The mark is second-best in HCAC history.
Tommy Wilmoth (Magnolia, Ky.) from Hanover had a strong performance in the shot put to secure his All-American spot, placing fourth in the event with a 17.86m toss.
Manchester had two student-athletes recognized as Gavin Byerly (Huntington, Ind.) and
Kenny Redd (Dayton, Ohio) were both recognized. Byerly earned his All-America selection by finishing sixth in the 1500m run with a time of 3:47.65, while Redd also had a sixth-place finish in the long jump with a mark of 7.24.
Finally, Mount St. Joseph hurdler Diego Yun (Cincinnati, Ohio) placed sixth in the 400m hurdles with a finals time of 52.70 after clocking in at 52.51 in preliminaries.
For the women, two HCAC student-athletes received All-America Second Team selections.
First was Jocelyn Onstot (Cary, Ill.) of Rose-Hulman who placed 10th in the steeplechase with a final time of 10:38.80. She also ran a 10:31.46 in preliminaries, setting a new HCAC record.
Wrapping up the list of HCAC All-Americans was Transylvania's Olivia Sparks (Lexington, Ky.) who placed 16th in the 400m with a time of 56.29.
