Tournament Live Scoring
Two days of play, and two dominate performances by Transylvania University tell the story of this year's championship. After holding a 16 stroke lead to start Saturday play, the Pioneers continued their march to the trophy by expanding that lead to 27 strokes in the team race and holding an impressive team total of one over par (577) for the tournament.
The individual scoreboard also has gained some clarity with Transylvania's
Andy Steed continuing to hold the tournament lead at three under (141) after two days. He is followed closely by Rose-Hulman's
Ryan Beerheide. Beerheide was five strokes better on Saturday than Friday, ending round two with a two day total of 143 (-1) and hoping to make up the two strokes on
Steed. Transylvania's
William Carr and
Tom Buchert sit in third and fourth with
Bluffton's
AJ Gerber.
Championship Sunday tees off at 8:30 a.m.
