Translyvania University wins 2026 HCAC Women's Golf Championship

Rose-Hulman's Erin Nolan claims individual Medalist title.

Anderson, IN - The Translyvania University Pioneers won the 2026 HCLC Women's Golf Championship, concluding Sunday's play with a 13 stroke advantage to claim the title.  The Championship was hosted by Anderson University at the Anderson Country Club.

Rose-Hulman’s Erin Nolan captured medalist honors to headline a competitive tournament field this weekend.

Transylvania finished atop the team standings at +141, holding off Rose-Hulman (+154) for the championship. Mount St. Joseph (+175) rounded out the top three, followed by Anderson (+191), Earlham (+234), and Bluffton (+235).  Hanover and Franklin also had golfers competing as individuals, with Hanover's Cassidy Clark finishing in the top five.

Rose-Hulman's Nolan delivered the tournament’s best individual performance, finishing at +14 (233) across three rounds. The Rose-Hulman standout opened with a +2 (75) first round before posting rounds of +7 (80) and +5 (78) to secure a comfortable victory. Fightin' Engineer teammate Elizabeth Ma also turned in a strong showing for Rose-Hulman, placing second overall at +23 (242) after rounds of +5 (78), +10 (83), and +8 (81).

Transylvania’s Nicole Mears led the way for the team champion Pioneers with a third-place finish at +28 (247). Mears carded consistent rounds on all three days as the Pioneers used depth throughout their lineup to capture the tournament crown.

Mount St. Joseph’s Debra Brogan finished fourth individually at +31 (250), while Hanover’s Cassidy Clark rounded out the top five at +32 (251). 

Tranyslvania coach Tom Campbell was named the 2026 HCAC Women’s Golf Coach of the Year. The HCAC also recognizes the top-5 finishers as the All-Tournament team, with the members listed below.

With the Championship title, Transylvania will now go play in the Division III National Championship tournament as the HCAC Automatic Bid recepient.
