At the start of day two, Rose-Hulman had a seven stroke lead. Moving day held up to its name for the Pioneers, as they have fought back to the tie for first place. The Mount St. Joseph Lions are sitting in third place, and look to be in an equally tough fight with the host, Anderson Ravens, who are six strokes behind the Lions.
Rose-Hulman's
Erin Nolan continues to lead individual play following her Friday round of 75 (+2), with a day two round of 80 (+7). After
Nolan's teammate
Elizabeth Ma iremains in second place, but not alone. The Hanover Panther's
Cassidy Clark used a second round 80 of her own to reach a tie for second place with
Ma.
Clark is showing consistency as her second day 80 was one stroke better than her first day's total. If she can match that on day three, look for
Clark to contend for the Medalist award on Sunday. Anderson's
Hannah Emenhiser took advantage of moving day, as she matched the day's best rounds at 80 (+7). That performance followed a rougher day one (+14). The swing moves
Emenhiser into seventh place, but on her home course, she will look to pose a top five threat, if not better.
Championship Sunday tees off at 8:00 a.m. with the top three teams (Rose-Hulman, Transylvania and MSJ) set to take the first tee just after 9:00 a.m.
