Men’s Throws Athlete of the Week:
Antoine Cooper (Indianapolis, Ind.) Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology | Throws | Senior - Antoine Cooper led the throws team for Rose-Hulman at the Pacesetter Invitational hosted by Indiana State. Cooper recorded a second-place finish in the discus with a mark of 48.36m. His mark leads the conference this season, ranks 19th in the Great Lakes Region, and 24th in all of NCAA DIII.
Men’s Jumps Athlete of the Week:
Chris Barrow (Cincinnati, Ohio) Mount St. Joseph University | Jumps | Sophomore - Chris Barrow was the winner of the high jump over the weekend in a jump off. He is currently ranked 10th in the Great Lakes Region and leads the HCAC in the high jump with a mark of 1.92m.
Men's Sprints/Hurdles Athlete of the Week:
Diego Yun (Cincinnati,Ohio) Mount St. Joseph University | Sprints | Junior - Diego Yun won the 400m hurdles by resetting his personal best time to 54.30. His time is the best in the conference and the region. Also was runner up in the 100m dash and anchored the school record setting 4x100m relay team.
Men's Distance Athlete of the Week:
Joshua Pohle (Osgood, Ind.) Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology | Distance | Senior - Joshua Pohle led the distance team for Rose-Hulman at the Oliver Nikloff Invitational hosted by the University of Cincinnati. Pohle placed 11th in a competitive field in the 5000m run with a time of 14:58.64. His time leads the HCAC and ranks seventh in the Great Lakes Region so far this season.

Throws
- Isaac Chavez (Lexington, Ky.) Berea College | Throws | Junior - Isaac Chavez threw two lifetime personal bests in the hammer and discus at the Emory Dooley Elite. In the hammer, Isaac threw 24.51m, a more than three-meter improvement on his previous personal best. He followed that up by throwing 26.23m in the discus, which is a near four-meter improvement on his personal best.
- Connor Smith Earlham College | Throws | Junior - In his first year throwing javelin, Connor Smith has made his mark with three consecutive top-5 finishes. He won the javelin this past weekend with a throw of 41.30m, putting him top-8 in the conference.
- Garek Ellis (Frankton, Ind.) Franklin College | Throws | Sophomore - Garek Ellis had a career day in the hammer throw in soggy conditions at the Manchester Invitational. His career-best toss of 47.60m placed him second in the meet and he is now sitting at No. 5 in the HCAC. That mark puts him over a full 10 meters further than he threw last year as a freshman.
- Wyatt Dickey (Thorntown, Ind.) Manchester University | Throws | Freshman - Wyatt Dickey set a new PR in the discus with a toss of 32.23m. He also threw his second-best mark in the hammer at 38.35m. Dickey added a 12.31m heave in the shot put, giving him his second best outdoor mark of his career.
- Bryan McCutcheon (Tecumseh, Mich.) Mount St. Joseph University | Throws | Freshman - Bryan McCutcheon was the winner of the shot put over the weekend, setting a personal best of 14.05m. The mark places him third all-time in Mount St. Joseph history, sixth in the HCAC, and 25th in the region.
Jumps
- Thomas Vaughn (Cincinnati, Ohio) Berea College | Jumps | Freshman - Thomas Vaughn took fourth place in the long jump in a highly competitive field at the Emory Dooley Elite. Thomas jumped 6.67m, which is his second farthest jump of all-time.
- Tommy Reddick (Dumas, Ark.) Earlham College | Jumps | Sophomore - Tommy Reddick has made huge strides in his first year of track. This week he added a 6.40m jump which puts him in the top-5 all time in school history and top-8 in the conference.
- Kenneth Redd Jr. (Dayton, Ohio) Manchester University | Jumps | Junior - Kenneth Redd Jr. jumped an outdoor PR of 1.90m in high jump and finished second at the Manchester University Invitation. His jump is currently second in the HCAC and 12th in the region.
- James Kaunas (Johnsburg, Ill.) Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology | Jumps | Senior - James Kaunas led the jumpers at the Pacesetter Invitational this past weekend. Kaunas earned two top-10 finishes, placing fifth in the long jump at 6.46m and sixth in the triple jump with a mark of 13.35m. His mark in the triple jump ranks third in the conference, and his mark in the long jump stands seventh in the HCAC.
Sprints/Hurdles
- Jackson Gunter (Dallas, Ga.) Berea College | Sprints | Freshman - Jackson Gunter ran a lifetime best of 50.26 in the 400m dash in a competitive field. This marks Gunter's first time going sub-51 seconds in the 400m.
- Khalid Amadou (Indianapolis, Ind.) Franklin College | Sprints | Freshman - Khalid Amadou had a strong day in some tough conditions at the Manchester Invitational. He clocked 49.37 in the 400m despite the wind and rain, winning the race by over two seconds. He came back a bit later to double back for 23.37 in the 200m.
- Gentry Oliver (Lafayette, Ind.) Manchester University | Sprints | Senior - Gentry Oliver ran 10.84 in the 100m and finished second at the Manchester University Invitational. His time is .04 seconds off his PR and is currently ranked first in the HCAC and 20th in the Great Lakes Region.
- William Fleck (Chillicothe, Ohio) Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology | Hurdles | Sophomore - William Fleck was a standout in the hurdles at the Pacesetter Invitational hosted by Indiana State. Fleck recorded an 11th-place finish in the 110m hurdles with a time of 16.25.
Distance
- Taiki Ogawa (Scappoose, Ore.) Berea College | Distance | Sophomore - Taiki Ogawa competed in the 3000m run at the Emory Dooley Elite,. Ogawa ran a personal best time of 9:25.63 to take fourth place overall.
- Zachary Schroeder (Evansville, Ind.) Franklin College | Distance | Sophomore - Zachary Schroeder finished runner-up in the steeplechase at the Manchester Invitational. His time of 10:13.87 was a new lifetime best. He currently sits fourth in the HCAC in that event.
- Austin Johnson (Leo, Ind.) Manchester University | Distance | Sophomore - Austin Johnson won the steeplechase at the Manchester Invitational with a time of 10:04.91. His time is currently third in the HCAC.
- Logan Wright (Brookville, Ohio) Mount St. Joseph University | Distance | Freshman - Logan Wright finished eighth in the 1500m race over the weekend. His time of 4:21.33 is a season best and ranks him fifth all-time in Mount St. Joseph history.
