HCLC 2026 Women's Lacrosse Notebook, Week 7

CARMEL, Ind. – The Heartland Collegiate Lacrosse Conference (HCLC) women's lacrosse teams competed in week seven of the 2026 season.

Athletes of the Week:
Offensive Player of the Week
Nicole Hollowell (Orlando, Fla.) Spalding University | Midfield | Senior - Nicole tallied four goals on four shots in the win against Hanover. She also tallied seven ground balls.

Defensive Player of the Week
Whitney White (Fort Brag, N.C.) Spalding University | Goalkeeper | Junior - Whitney tallied 13 saves in the 14-6 win over Hanover. She also tallied 11 ground balls.

Notable Performances:
  • Abby Moore (Indianapolis, Ind.) Franklin College | Midfield | Junior - Moore scored three goals and assisted on another during the Grizzlies' trip to Transylvania. The junior, who put six of her team-high seven shots on target, also caused two turnovers and scooped a pair of ground balls.
  • Julia Jarrells (Mason, Ohio) Hanover College | Midfield | Sophomore - Jarrells led the Panthers at Spalding tallying three points on two goals and an assist. She added three ground balls, picked up a caused turnover, and three draw control wins. 
  • Ruby Himes (Lexington, Ky.) Transylvania University | Goalkeeper | Freshman - Ruby Himes anchored the defense in Transylvania's 24–4 win over Franklin, recording four saves while allowing just four goals across 60 minutes of action.
  • Presley Helton (Bowling Green, Ky.) Transylvania University | Midfield | Sophomore - Presley Helton contributed a five-point performance for Transylvania, recording three goals and two assists. She was efficient offensively, placing all four of her shots on goal, while also adding four draw controls.
