Men’s Throws Athlete of the Week:
Tommy Wilmoth (Magnolia, Ky.) Hanover College | Throws | Junior - Tommy Wilmoth led Hanover as part of the Hanover Invitational, rewriting the record book again. The junior won the shot put with a toss of 17.22m. The distance sits third among all of NCAA Division III. He also took second in the discus throw with a distance of 46.55m. The distance ranks 21st in the nation.
Men’s Jumps Athlete of the Week:
Josiah Marshall (Huber Heights, Ohio) Anderson University | Jumps | Sophomore - Josiah Marshall won the triple jump and the long jump with respective marks of 13.50m and 6.51m. He is currently ranked first in triple jump and sixth in long jump in the HCAC.
Men's Sprints/Hurdles Athlete of the Week:
Diego Yun (Cincinnati,Ohio) Mount St. Joseph University | Sprints | Junior - Diego Yun won the 100m dash (11.05), the 400m hurdles (54.95), and anchored the winning 4x100m (42.65) relay at the Hanover Invitational. He recorded his personal best in the 100m, second all-time at Mount St. Joseph in the 400 hurdles, and third best all-time in the 4x100m relay.
Men's Distance Athlete of the Week:
Gavin Byerly (Huntington, Ind.) Manchester University | Distance | Senior - Gavin had two big PRs over the weekend in the 3000m steeplechase, where he ran 9:15.73, and the 800m, clocking in at 1:53.85. Both times are conference leading marks. His steeplechase time is currently first in the Great Lakes Region and ninth in the nation. Meanwhile, his 800m time is fourth in the Great Lakes Region and 20th nationally. His steeplechase time is also second in Manchester history and third all-time in the HCAC. His 800 ranks third in MU history and fifth in HCAC history.

Throws
- Qi'Yam Simmons (Indianapolis, Ind.) Anderson University | Throws | Freshman - Qi'Yam Simmons had two PRs to bump his discus and hammer standings. He threw a 14.58m toss in shot put for third at the Hanover Invitational, following it up with a 44.73m discus throw for fourth at the meet and in the HCAC. He added a 45.83m hammer throw to move into eighth in the HCAC.
- Isaac Chavez (Lexington, Ky.) Berea College | Throws | Junior - Isaac Chavez had a career day for Berea at the Landon Bond Classic. He threw a PR of 29.68m in the javelin. It is his first time PR'ing in the event since 2024.
- Alex Trusty (Silver Lake, Ind.) Manchester University | Throws | Sophomore - Alex Trusty threw 45.75m in the hammer to record a PR by more than four meters. His toss ranks ninth in the HCAC. Trusty also had a 39.00m heave in the discus, which is his second-best career mark in the event.
- Kaleb Fitzgerald (Cincinnati, Ohio) Mount St. Joseph University | Throws | Junior - Kaleb Fitzgerlad placed third in the hammer throw Saturday morning with a personal best for consecutive weeks. Moved up to sixth in the HCAC with his mark of 46.89m.
- Antoine Cooper (Indianapolis, Ind.) Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology | Throws | Senior - Antoine Cooper was exceptional at the Fightin' Engineers Spring Classic. He picked up an event win in the discus with a mark of 48.24m. He also earned a third-place finish in the shot put with a mark of 14.26m. His mark in the discus currently leads the HCAC in the event.
Jumps
- Leroy Freeman III (Riviera Beach, Fla.) Berea College | Jumps | Freshman - Leroy Freeman III produced a personal best of 12.46m in the triple jump at the Landon Bond Classic. The mark is a 35-centimeter improvement on his previous best. He is now ranked sixth in the HCAC.
- Moe Williams Manchester University | Jumps | Freshman - Moe Williams jumped a PR of 6.36m in long jump to earn a win at the Fighting Engineers Spring Classic. This jump ranks seventh in the HCAC this year.
- Bryce Chen (Chandler, Ariz.) Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology | Jumps | Senior - Bryce Chen was the top jumper at the Fightin' Engineers Classic. Chen earned an event win in the triple jump with a mark of 12.15m. His mark ranks fourth in the conference this season.
Sprints/Hurdles
- Kaleb Eldridge (Anderson, Ind.) Anderson University | Hurdles | Freshman - Kaleb Eldridge ran a PR in the 110m hurdles to put him third in HCAC with a time of 16.11. He also hit the 400m hurdles HCAC standard in his opening race with a 1:02.26.
- Jaylin Drummer (Charlotte, N.C.) Berea College | Sprints | Freshman - Jaylin Drummer took second place in the 400m hurdles at the Landon Bond Classic, running a 1:00.64. Drummer followed that by splitting a 52-high in the mixed 4x400m relay.
- Kenneth Redd Jr. (Dayton, Ohio) Manchester University | Sprints | Junior - Kenneth Redd Jr. opened up in the 400m with a time of 49.09 to win the Fightin’ Engineers Spring Classic. This time is currently second in the HCAC and seventh in the region.
- William Fleck (Chillicothe, Ohio) Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology | Hurdles | Sophomore - William Fleck had an incredible performance at the Fightin' Engineers Spring Classic. Fleck picked up a first-place finish in the 110m hurdles with a time of 15.46. His time leads the conference in the event this season.
Distance
- David Stansbury (Elkhart, Ind.) Anderson University | Distance | Senior - David Stansbury broke the 16 minute barrier in the 5000m for the first time in his life with a 15:56. He is six seconds from the HCAC 5000m standard.
- Taiki Ogawa (Scappoose, Ore.) Berea College | Distance | Sophomore - Taiki Ogawa ran a personal best of 16:27.86 in the 5000m at the Landon Bond Classic. The time is a 14-second improvement on his previous best.
- Conner Watson (Greenwood, Ind.) Hanover College | Distance | Senior - Conner Watson led Hanover as it hosted the Hanover Invitational on Saturday, winning the 1500m run with a time of 4:05.72. He also competed on Friday in Saint Louis in the 5000m, running a personal best time of 15:47.36 in the event.
- Rhys Phelps (Raleigh, N.C.) Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology | Distance | Junior - Rhys Phelps led Rose-Hulman’s distance team at the North Central Distance Fling. Phelps placed first in the 10000m run with a time of 31:40.29. His time ranks fourth in the Rose-Hulman school record books and is the top time in the conference this season.
