Offensive Player of the Week
Avery Kirkhope (Lexington, Ky.) Transylvania University | Midfield | Sophomore - Avery Kirkhope led the Transylvania offense with five goals and an assist in a midweek matchup against Capital. Kirkhope totaled only six shots in the game. Then, in an 11-9 victory against Wittenberg, Kirkhope found the back of the net twice on seven shot attempts, five of which were on goal.
Defensive Player of the Week
Whitney White (Fort Brag, N.C.) Spalding University | Goalkeeper | Junior - Whitney White tallied 19 saves in two games. She led Spalding to a 12-11 victory over Huntingdon during the week and also tallied six ground balls.
Notable Performances:
- Julia Jarrells (Mason, Ohio) Hanover College | Midfield | Sophomore - Julia Jarrells led Hanover to a 5-4 victory over Huntingdon and a 1-1 week overall. The sophomore tallied what became the game-winning goal in the fourth quarter with 8:06 remaining. She finished the week with two goals on four shots. Julia collected two ground balls and one draw control.
- Grace Mitchell (St. Louis, Mo.) Spalding University | Midfield | Sophomore - Grace Mitchell tallied four goals and three assists in two games this week. She led SU to a 12-11 win over Huntingdon. She tallied 10 shots on goal across the two contests.
