LEXINGTON, Ky. – No. 1 seed Transylvania University captured the Women’s Basketball title on Saturday in the 2025 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Women’s Basketball Championship, beating No. 2 seed Mount St. Joseph University 69-62.
The Pioneers continue their dominant season, improving to 22-5, while the Mount St. Joseph fell in the Championship, finishing their 2024-25 season with a record of 20-8. Transylvania claims the HCAC Automatic Qualification bid to the 2025 NCAA Division III Women’s Basketball Championship, and will learn their fate of what's next on Monday, Mar. 3 at 2:30 pm during the selection show.
