CARMEL, Ind. - The 2025 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Women's Basketball Championship is set to be held Saturday, Feb. 22 through Saturday March 1.

Transylvania University earned the No. 1 seed, following a 17-1 mark in conference play, in which they earned the 2024-25 regular season title. They will take on the No. 8 seed Bluffton Beavers, who enter the tournament with a 5-13 conference record. Earning the No. 2 seed is Mount St. Joseph University, finishing the year with a 13-5 HCAC record. The Lions will face the No. 7 seeded Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology Fightin' Engineers, who were one of four HCAC women's teams with a 9-9 record. No. 3 Hanover College (12-6) also earned hosting rights for the Saturday quarterfinals, and will face off with the No. 6 seed, Berea College Mountaineers (9-9), who have made the tournament during their first season of HCAC play. The final quarterfinal host will be the No. 4 seed Anderson Ravens (9-9), who will welcome No. 5 Franklin College (9-9).
This year's HCAC Women's Basketball Tournament will be held in an eight-team format.
The semifinal and final rounds of the women’s championship will be contested on the campus of the highest remaining seed after the Quarterfinals, and held on Friday, February 28th at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. The championship game will consist of the two remaining teams and will tip at 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 1.
Admission to all HCAC Championships is $10. Children aged 11 and under and students/faculty and staff with an HCAC institution ID will be admitted for free.
