Men’s Throws Athlete of the Week:
George Myles (Gary, Ind.) Manchester University | Throws | First Year - Freshman George Myles finished 4th in the Weight at the DePauw Invitational. He increased his PR by another 48cm, throwing 15.55m. This makes him #6 All-Time at Manchester and #9 among Freshman in all of Division 3.
Men’s Jumps Athlete of the Week:
Markieus Hill (Lexingtomn, Ky.) Transylvania University | Long Jump | Junior - Markieus jumped his season best of 6.66m in the LJ at the Centre Indoor Invitational. He also triple jumped for the first time in his career, recording a mark of 12.78m. Those performances are #2 and #4 in the conference, respectively.
Men's Sprints/Hurdles Athlete of the Week:
Luke Paddock (Connersville, Ind.) Franklin College | Sprints | Senior - Paddock had himself a career day at the Depauw Invitational. He won the 400M dash, lowering his career indoor best from 52.08 to 51.34, good for #3 in FC school history and currently #3 in the HCAC. He then clocked the fastest split later on in helping the 1600M Grizzly relay team to an HCAC leading time of 3:27.58, breaking their school record from 2011!
Men's Distance Athlete of the Week:
Brenden Oden (New Carlsile, Ind.) Manchester University | Distance | Junior - Brenden ran a lifetime best in the 3000m at the DePauw invitational. Finishing 1st against NCAA athletes with a time of 8:53.66. His time puts him 4th in the HCAC performance list and it’s the 10th fastest time in Manchester’s history.

Throws Athletes:
- Josh Patel (Houston, Texas) Berea College | Throws | Junior - Patel in his first track & field meet of his career competed in the shot put and weight throw. In the two events, he threw 9.17m and 7.95m, respectively. Those marks put him 10th and 9th all-time in indoor school history.
- Antoine Cooper (Indianapolis, Ind.) Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology | Throws | Junior - Cooper finished in 3rd place at Indiana State in the Weight Throw with a mark of 16.42 meters on Saturday. He also finished 8th in the Shot Put with a mark of 13.99 meters.
Jumps Athletes:
- Robert Russell (Valdosta, Ga.) Berea College | Long Jump | Junior - Russell jumped two PR's this weekend. In long jump, Russell jumped 6.53m in the long jump, which is a life-time best and puts him second all-time in indoor school history. Russell followed that up by jumping an indoor best of 12.53m in the triple jump, which ranks him 5th in the HCAC.
- Kenny Redd (Dayton, Ohio) Manchester University | Jumps | Sophomore - Kenny won the DePauw invitational with a jump of 1.88m.
- James Kaunas (Johnsburg, Ill.) Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology | Jumps | Junior - Kaunas narrowly missed an event win on Saturday at DePauw with a mark of 13.02 meters for a 2nd place finish in the Triple Jump. He also finished 6th in the Long Jump with a mark of 6.04 meters.
Sprints/Hurdles Athletes:
- Narquise Sneed (Owensboro, Ky.) Berea College | Sprints | Sophomore - Sneed competed in the 60m dash at the Centre Indoor Invitational and ran a personal best of 7.46 seconds.
- Grady Shay (Morning View, Ky.) Hanover College | Hurdles | Sophomore - Shay led the Panthers at the DePauw Invite setting a School Record in the 60-meter hurdles. The sophomore finished fifth in the event with a time of 8.60 seconds. He broke his record of 8.61 set earlier this year.
- Gentry Oliver (Lafayette, Ind.) Manchester University | Sprints | Junior - Gentry ran 7.13 to make finals in the 60m and was a part of the 4x200 that ran the 7th fastest time in Manchester’s school history.
- Kendrick Sherrer (Cincinnati, Ohio) Mount St. Joseph University | Sprints | First Year - PR in the 200m (22.24) & 400m (52.37), placed 2nd in both races at Anderson Invite, currently ranked 1st in the 60m, 2nd in the 200m and 8th in the 400m in the HCAC.
- Andrew Shields (Bryan, Texas) Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology | Sprints | Sophomore - Shields teamed up to win the Distance Medley Relay on Saturday at DePauw with a time of 10:26.36. He also finished in 3rd place in the 200m Dash with a time of 22.87.
Distance Athletes:
- Austin Gatewood (Azel, Texas) Berea College | Distance | Sophomore - Gatewood ran a lifetime best in the 800m at the Centre Indoor Invitational, running 1:59.83 and going sub-2:00 for the first time. The mark puts him 6th in indoor school history and 5th in the HCAC.
- Ethan Rose (Raleigh, N.C.) Earlham College | Distance | Junior - Ethan ran his first ever track 3K this past weekend at MSJ, placing 8th. He ran 9:31 for his first time out. It is the longest track race he has ever run.
- Conner Watson (Greenwood, Ind.) Hanover College | Distance | Junior - Watson had a strong showing at the DePauw Invite competing in the one mile. He finished ninth in the race with a personal best time of 4:30.05.
- Mitch Reveal (Batavia, Ohio) Mount St. Joseph University | Distance | Junior - PR in 3000m @ MSJ February Invite after PR in 5000m @ Anderson Invite the week before, is now 2nd All-time in school history in the 3K.
- Joshua Pohle (Osgood, Ind.) Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology | Distance | Junior - Pohle finished in 3rd place in the 3000m Run at DePauw on Saturday with a time of 8:55.92.
