Hanover secured the No. 1 seed by collecting 25 points in the conference standings with a 8-0-1 league (10-4-4 overall) record. That finish earned the Panthers a share of the 2026 HCAC Men’s Soccer Regular Season Championship. They will share the regular season title with No. 2 seed Transylvania, which also earned 25 points with a 8-0-1 HCAC (11-2-3 overall) record.

With the two teams tied in the conference standings, the league’s tiebreaking procedure was used to determine seeding. In their only regular season meeting, Hanover and Transy played to a 0-0 draw. Per the league’s tiebreaking procedure, in such a scenario, the away team wins the tiebreak thus the Panthers were awarded the higher seed.

The top two seeds in the bracket receive byes directly into the HCAC Semifinal round.

The remainder of the six-team field will play in quarterfinal matches on Saturday, Oct. 31. No. 3 seed Rose-Hulman (19 points, 6-2-1 HCAC, 8-6-4 overall) will host No. 6 seed Manchester (10 points, 3-5-1 HCAC, 7-9-1 overall) in one matchup, while No. 4 seed Anderson (14 points, 4-3-2 HCAC, 6-8-2 overall) will host No. 5 seed Earlham (11 points, 3-4-2 HCAC, 7-6-4 overall) in the other.
