Athlete of the Week:
Jordan Huxford (Fishers, Ind.) Franklin College | Sophomore - Huxford helped lead Franklin to a top-five team finish at the Stateline Shootout in Ohio, tying for eighth individually at 148 (+4). Huxford held the individual lead after Saturday's first round with a 1-under-par 71 and followed with a 77 on Sunday to finish as the lone HCAC player in the top 10.
Notable Performances:
- Isaiah Newby (Berea, Ky.) Berea College | First Year - Freshman Isaiah Newby put together his best performance of the year with a 80 in Round 1 and a 77 in Round 2 at the Stateline Shootout in Harrison, OH hosted by Mount St. Joseph. He finished 33rd out of 90 golfers.
- Drake Sommer (Montpelier, Ohio) Bluffton University | Sophomore - Sommer led the Beavers with a 155 at the MSJ Stateline Shootout on Saturday and Sunday. He shot a team-best 76 on the strength of an even-par 36 over the final nine holes on Saturday.
- Jacob Knapp (Bloomington, Ind.) Hanover College | Junior - Junior Jacob Knapp dominated round one of the Stateline Shootout to lead Hanover, scoring a team low 74. He finished the 36 holes, shooting a 154 (74-80). He had four birdies in round one to finish just two over par.
