LEXINGTON, Ky. – No. 2 ranked Transylvania University captured the Women’s Basketball title on Saturday in the 2024 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Women’s Basketball Championship, dowing Mount St. Joseph University 74-46.

The Pioneers continue their undefeated season, improving to 26-0, while the Mount St. Joseph fell in the Championship, finishing their 2023-24 campaign with a mark of 22-6. Transylvania claims the HCAC Automatic Qualification bid to the 2024 NCAA Division III Women’s Basketball Championship, and will learn their fate on Monday, Feb. 26 at 2:30 pm during the selection show.
