Hanover College Repeats as 2024 HCAC Women's Cross Country Champions

SHELBYVILLE, Ind. – The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) 2024 Women’s Cross Country Championship was run on Saturday, with Hanover College claiming the title at the Blue River Cross Country Course.

The Panthers won the championship title with a score of 42 points, while Berea College finished in second, scoring 58 points. Manchester University finished in third with 61 points, Transylvania University finished in fourth with 71 points while Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology (117) and Franklin College (175) took fifth sixth respectively.

Madison Stonestreet (West Milford, W.V.) from Berea won the individual title, racing to a time of 23:23.80. Manchester University's Chesnee Miller (Akron, Ind.) was named the newcomer of the meet, as she was the fastest first-year, running a race of 22:58.52.  In a vote of league coaches, Hanover head coach Brady Wells was named the 2024 HCAC Women's Cross Country Coach of the Year.

Newcomer of the Year: Chesnee Miller, Manchester University

Coach of the Year: Brady Wells, Hanover College
