Transylvania Wins the 2022 HCAC Women’s Basketball Championship

LEXINGTON, Ky. – No. 2 ranked Transylvania University captured the Women’s Basketball title on Saturday in the 2022 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Women’s Basketball Championship.

The Pioneers continue their undefeated season, improving to 24-0, while the Anderson University fell in the Championship, finishing their 2021-22 campaign with a mark of 12-15. Transylvania claims the HCAC Automatic Qualification bid to the 2022 NCAA Division III Women’s Basketball Championship, and will learn their fate on Monday, Feb. 28 at 2:30 pm during the selection show.
 
The HCAC recognizes an All-Tournament team, with the members of the 2022 HCAC All-Tournament team below.
