Athlete of the Week:
Karlee Mills (Fairfield, Ohio) Mount St. Joseph University | Guard | Senior - Karlee Mills led Mount St. Joseph to a 2-0 week, including a big road win at Franklin on Wednesday. For the week she averaged 24.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.0 steals per game. She also shot 49 percent from the field.
Notable Performances:
- Paige Williamson (Rockford, Ohio) Anderson University | Guard | Sophomore - Paige Williamson dropped a career-high 20 points while draining 6-of-11 shots from three-point range during Wednesday's win against Manchester. Williamson averaged 13.5 points as the Ravens went 1-1 on the week.
- LynKaylah James (Bowling Green, Ky.) Berea College | Forward | Senior - LynKaylah became the all-time leading rebounder in Berea women’s basketball history on Saturday. She currently sits at 1019 rebounds. She averaged a double-double this week with 15.0 points and 10.0 rebounds per game.
- Alexis Stevely (Marion, Ohio) Bluffton University | Guard | Junior - Alexis Stevely finished the week bucketing 15.5 points per game on 11-for-20 shooting from the field, including a blistering 9-for-16 from distance. She added two steals, two rebounds, and six assists as Bluffton split a pair of HCAC contests. In Bluffton's 86-63 win over Earlham on Wednesday night, Stevely came up one shy in her pursuit of Kyla Columber's school record for three-pointers. She hit 7-of-12, including six in a white-hot third quarter, on the way to a career-high 23 points.
- Molly Schulte (Rockport, Ind.) Franklin College | Guard | Sophomore - Molly Schulte helped Franklin clinch a top-four seed in the HCAC tournament, finishing with 16 points, four rebounds, and four assists in a road win over Berea. She also had 13 points, on 5-for-7 shooting, six boards, and four assists against Mount St. Joseph.
- Alexis Wines (Lebanon, Ind.) Hanover College | Guard | Senior - Alexis Wines led Hanover, averaging 16.0 points per game as the Panthers went 1-1 overall. She had a team-high 21 points with six assists and five steals to help propel Hanover past Manchester.
- Hannah Holmes (Largo, Ind.) Manchester University | Center | Sophomore - Hannah Holmes provided consistent production for Manchester across the week, contributing on both ends of the floor in a pair of conference matchups. In Wednesday’s loss to Anderson, she finished with 11 points and six rebounds, working effectively on the glass and within the offense. Holmes followed that performance on Saturday at Hanover with 12 points, seven rebounds, and two steals.
- Katelyn Fennell (Terre Haute, Ind.) Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology | Guard | Sophomore - Katelyn Fennell led Rose-Hulman to a 2-0 week, as the Fightin' Engineers defeated Hanover 66-59 and Anderson 79-54 to improve from the No. 9 seed to the No. 7 seed in the HCAC. Fennell averaged 17.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 2.0 steals per game on efficient shooting splits. She shot 12-for-25 from the floor and 9-for-11 at the free throw line.
- Sierra Kemelgor (Crestwood, Ky.) Transylvania University | Guard | Senior - Sierra Kemelgor led Transylvania with 18 points and four rebounds in a 73-46 win over Berea. On Saturday, Kemelgor led the Pioneers to a senior day victory over Bluffton 80-53. She recorded 17 points, two rebounds, and a steal in the win.
