Athlete of the Week:
Cooper Matthews (Hamilton, Ohio) Franklin College | Guard | Junior - Cooper Matthews had a big hand in Franklin’s victory to close out the regular season. The junior collected 21 points, five rebounds, eight assists, and four steals in a 76-70 win over Manchester.
Notable Performances:
- Bryce Williams (Fishers, Ind.) Anderson University | Guard | Junior - Bryce Williams produced 23 points, four assists, and five rebounds in Wednesday's win against Bluffton.
- Nevin Robson (Kenton, Ohio) Bluffton University | Guard | Senior - Nevin Robson paced the Beavers with 18 points on 7-for-14 shooting in a 93-74 loss to Anderson on Wednesday night. He also dished out five assists, snagged six boards, and poked away three steals.
- Ty Lynas (Crawfordsville, Ind.) Manchester University | Guard | Graduate - Ty Lynas had another standout performance in Manchester's regular-season finale on Wednesday. Lynas put up 25 points on 10-for-21 shooting and 4-for-10 from three. He also pulled down six rebounds and dished three assists.
- Joey Schmitz (Bargersville, Ind.) Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology | Guard | Sophomore - Joey Schmitz led Rose-Hulman to a 66-49 win over Earlham as the Fightin' Engineers clinched the No. 3 seed in the HCAC Tournament. He scored a game-high 25 points, shooting 10-for-21 from the floor and 4-for-9 from beyond-the-arc. He added five rebounds, while recording four steals and one blocked shot.
- Luke Idlett (Bowling Green, Ky.) Transylvania University | Guard | Freshman - Luke Idlett recorded a team high 20 points on an efficient 7-for-10 shooting performance from the field, including hitting 4-for-7 from three-point range.
