Athlete of the Week:
Jordan Coon (Evansville, Ind.) Franklin College | Guard | Senior - Jordan Coon led the way as Franklin took over sole possession of the HCAC lead with a pair of victories. She scored a team-high 24 points on 10-of-17 shooting and added six rebounds as the Grizzlies upended defending league champion Transylvania in overtime, ending an 18-game series losing streak. Three days later, she added 21 points, six rebounds, eight assists, and three steals in a road win over Rose-Hulman.
Notable Performances:
- Bella Larrison (Waldron, Ind.) Anderson University | Guard | Senior - Bella Larrison produced 22 points, eight rebounds and three assists in Wednesday's win against Manchester. She then flirted with a triple-double as she recorded 18 points, 12 rebounds, and seven assists in Saturday's win against Earlham. On the week, Larrison averaged 20 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists.
- LynKaylah James (Bowling Green, Ky.) Berea College | Forward | Senior - LynKaylah James recorded a combined 29 points and 27 rebounds for the week, going 1-1, with a win against Mount St. Joseph and a loss against Bluffton. James is currently averaging 14.0 rebounds and 18.0 points per game for the Mountaineers.
- Rachel Clark (Lima, Ohio) Bluffton University | Guard | Junior - Rachel Clark led Bluffton to a pair of victories over Earlham and Berea. She scored 17.5 points per game on a blistering 12-for-18 from the field. She went 3-for-4 from distance and 8-for-10 at the line. Clark pulled down 3.5 rebounds per game to go along with three blocks for the week. The junior hit 8-of-9 from the floor and 5-of-6 at the line for 23 points, just two off her career-high in a 59-51 win over visiting Berea on Saturday.
- Sammy Berman (Independence, Ky.) Hanover College | Guard | Junior - Sammy Berman led Hanover to a 2-0 week as it defeated both Rose-Hulman and Mount St. Joseph. The junior finished the week averaging 16.5 points and 3.0 rebounds per game. In the contest with MSJ, she netted a game-high 19 points. At Rose-Hulman, Berman added 14 points and a perfect 6-for-6 mark at the free-throw line.
- Katelyn Fennell (Terre Haute, Ind.) Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology | Guard | Sophomore - Katelyn Fennell was the standout for Rose-Hulman this week as the team went 0-2 against HCAC opponents. Fennell led the team in their loss to Hanover with 18 points, shooting 7-for-15 from the field and 4-for-11 from three. She followed that performance with a team-high 19 points against Franklin, while also pulling down seven rebounds.
- Sierra Kemelgor (Crestwood, Ky.) Transylvania University | Guard | Senior - Sierra Kemelgor scored 27 points, including five three-pointers, while grabbing four rebounds and recording two steals in an overtime loss at Franklin. In a 61-38 victory over Manchester, she again scored five three-pointers for a leading performance of 22 points, three rebounds, and three steals.
