CARMEL, Ind. – In a vote amongst league coaches, the Transylvania University volleyball team was picked to finish first in the 2025 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) volleyball season.
The Pioneers are on top of the poll after claiming a sixth straight HCAC Conference Tournament title in the 2024 season. The 2025 team garnered nine first-place votes en route to 81 points. Just narrowly finishing behind in second place was Mount St. Joseph University, who posted 71 points and snagged the remaining first-place nod. Manchester University finished in third with 60 points. Hanover College (58) and Earlham College (48) finished out the top-half of the poll, finishing in fourth and fifth respectively.
